How We Finish This Year Will Define the Next One

Today is the final day of 2025.

And how we finish this year will dictate how we start the next.

For decades, legacy media decided what Americans read, watched, and believed. They chased clicks. They elevated celebrity “journalists.” They blurred the line between reporting and opinion to push a political agenda—and then wondered why trust collapsed.

2025 was the year readers began choosing something different.

The Flyover’s growth didn’t explode because of outrage or agenda.
It grew because millions of Americans are hungry for:

  • Facts over spin
  • Reporting over opinion
  • Common sense over political agendas

As we head into 2026, we’re sending a clear message:

The Flyover is going to be the No. 1 source of unbiased, fact-first, common-sense news in America.

And the reason won’t be corporations.
It won’t be political donors.
It will be reader-owners.

Beginning tomorrow, Tennessee will become the first state with a public domestic violence offender registry under Savanna’s Law, named after slain deputy Savanna Puckett.

The registry, managed by the TBI, will list the names, photos, convictions, and counties of repeat offenders—excluding addresses and personal identification numbers.

Puckett’s ex-boyfriend, who killed her in 2022, had a history of abuse unknown to her before his attack.

Lawmakers and victim advocates say the tool could save lives by making dangerous patterns easier to spot before tragedy strikes.

Franklin High School’s marching band is heading to Pasadena, California, to perform in the 137th Rose Parade on New Year’s Day 2026.

Over 200 students departed from Nashville on Saturday after a year of preparation.

The performance marks a special return—30 years after the school’s first Rose Parade appearance in 1996—with some faculty and chaperones having marched in that original trip.

The band will also perform at Disneyland and will assist in decorating parade floats during their week-long stay.

Nashville’s New Year’s Eve celebration will again feature an official alcohol-free zone at Bicentennial Capitol Mall, catering to people in recovery, families, and anyone avoiding alcohol.

The sober space drew over 6,000 visitors last year and aims to reduce stigma while offering a supportive environment.

Marked by yellow balloons and staffed with volunteers serving coffee and energy drinks, the area offers a quieter, safer option amid the city’s festivities.
