Article Icon 1Chattanooga Starts First Quantum Network

Chattanooga made tech history by launching the nation’s first commercial quantum computing network—a $22 million project between EPB and IonQ.

Leaders say the technology, which allows computers to explore multiple possibilities simultaneously, will transform industries from cybersecurity to energy management and could inject trillions into the local economy over the next decade.

The compact system, roughly the size of a fridge, is expected to be fully operational by early 2026.

Officials tout the project as a major job creator and a sign that Chattanooga is staking a claim in the future of the internet and energy grids.

Article Icon 1Historic 130-Year-Old Memphis Church Burns

The historic Clayborn Temple Church in Downtown Memphis was severely damaged in an early Monday morning fire, according to the Memphis Fire Department.

The cause remains unknown, but the ATF has joined the investigation due to the building’s major civil rights significance. See video of the damage here.

Clayborn Temple Church, founded in 1892, was a central rallying point during the 1968 Memphis sanitation strike that drew Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the city.

Officials and community leaders mourned the loss but stressed that the church’s legacy of justice and community endures beyond the building’s walls.

Article Icon 1Nashville Sues Feds Over $11.4 billion in Cuts

Nashville has joined three other cities in suing the federal government after $11.4 billion in pandemic-era public health funding was abruptly cut last month.

The lawsuit accuses HHS and the CDC of unlawfully terminating grants that supported vaccinations, infectious disease testing, and homeless outreach.

Nashville officials warn that the lost funding has already led to layoffs, canceled programs, and heightened risks of vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks.

The city is seeking to restore funding, arguing that the cuts undermine long-term public health efforts Congress intended after COVID-19.

Apple’s Starlink Update Sparks Huge Earning Opportunity

Apple just secretly added Starlink satellite support to iPhones through iOS 18.3.

One of the biggest potential winners? Mode Mobile.

Mode’s EarnPhone has already reached more than 45 million users who have earned over $325 million, and that’s before global satellite coverage. With SpaceX eliminating “dead zones” worldwide, Mode’s earning technology can now reach billions more in unbanked and rural populations worldwide.

Their global expansion is perfectly timed, and you still have a chance to invest in their pre-IPO offering at just $0.26/share.

Mode’s recent 32,481% revenue growth and their newly reserved Nasdaq ticker $MODE puts them one step closer to a potential IPO.

Last chance to invest at $0.26/share. Price changes on May 1.
