Article Icon 1Armed Man Killed at Nashville Courthouse

A security officer fatally shot a man who pulled a pistol and a knife at the Fred D. Thompson Federal Building & Courthouse in downtown Nashville around 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

Police said the man tried to fire his gun at the security checkpoint, but it failed, and he pulled a knife before the officer shot him.

The man, in his 40s and from out of state with ties to Nashville, died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Police haven’t yet released his name.

Police said it was the first incident of its kind at the courthouse, and the TBI is leading the investigation alongside federal officials.

Article Icon 1DACA Recipients Report License Denials

Some Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program recipients in Tennessee say they’re being turned away when trying to renew their driver’s licenses, according to a local immigrant rights group.

The group blames new rules from the state Department of Safety and Homeland Security.

DACA is a federal program created in 2012 that shields some immigrants brought to the U.S. as children from deportation and lets them get work permits, and more than 7,000 recipients live in Tennessee.

It’s not yet clear how many people have been affected or exactly what the new rules require.

Article Icon 1Trump to Rally in Clarksville Saturday

President Donald Trump is set to return to Tennessee for a midterm rally in Clarksville on Saturday, just weeks after visiting Knoxville.

The stop is part of what Trump calls a 32-day campaign tour to boost Republicans ahead of the Nov. 3 midterms.

“We win when I’m on the ballot,” Trump told supporters at an Ohio rally last weekend.

The president is also reportedly expected to visit nearby Fort Campbell on Saturday, when the remnants of Tropical Storm Isaias could bring rain to the area.

The Investment Hiding Inside Every AI Chip

Everyone knows AI is powered by chips. Almost nobody knows those chips run on tungsten.

It’s one of Earth’s hardest-to-replace metals. Yet somehow, America produces almost none. United States Tungsten is changing that.

They’re redeveloping what was once America’s largest tungsten facility, the “Tungsten Queen” in North Carolina. It holds roughly 1M tons of minerals, worth $665M+ at today’s prices.

Right on time, too. America’s biggest AI rival, China, supplies 84% of global tungsten. It’s already tightened exports. There’s no telling how long that door will stay open for American companies.

Now’s your chance to invest as United States Tungsten works to open a new door at home. Become a shareholder before midnight PT tonight to qualify for up to 23% in United States Tungsten bonus shares.

Unlocking America’s $665M ‘Tungsten Queen’

The U.S. is racing to rebuild a critical mineral supply chain. Tungsten is essential to the military, but China controls 84% of the global supply.

So the government is phasing out tungsten imports from adversaries and growing the domestic supply. That’s a serious opportunity in America, and United States Tungsten is taking advantage.

They’re reviving what was once America’s largest tungsten facility, home to $665M+ worth of minerals at today’s prices.

The going rate’s already up by 500% in the past year. And this is a rare chance for you to invest in a proven asset.
