Tennessee’s average gas price remains at $2.72 per gallon heading into Memorial Day weekend, holding flat for the second week in a row.

The current price is 44 cents cheaper than this time last year, despite a slight three-cent rise over the past month.

Tennessee ranks as the second least-expensive state for gas, compared to a national average of $3.17, and with Cleveland, Chattanooga, and Clarksville posting the lowest metro prices.

Nationwide, gas prices are inching up as crude oil costs rise, but Americans are still paying about 40 cents less per gallon than last year.

All of Tennessee’s major pro sports teams—including the Titans, Grizzlies, Predators, and Nashville SC—are teaming up to support the state’s foster care system through the new Every Team for Every Child campaign.

The initiative, part of the state’s broader Every Child TN effort, includes teams spotlighting the issue through gameday events, social media, and community outreach starting in the 2025–26 season.

With support from stars like Dolly Parton and Thomas Rhett, the campaign aims to recruit foster families, reduce long-distance placements, and keep siblings together.

Since launching, the program has generated 176 new foster home leads and over $500,000 in aid for foster kids.

Zillow’s Co-Founder Has a Big New Idea

Spencer Rascoff co-founded Zillow, scaling it into a $16B real estate giant. But everyday investors couldn’t invest until after the IPO, missing potential early gains.

“I wish we had done a round accessible to retail investors prior to Zillow’s IPO,” Spencer later said.

Now he’s doing just that. Spencer has teamed up with Austin Allison, another Zillow exec, to launch Pacaso. Pacaso’s co-ownership marketplace is disrupting the $1.3T vacation home market. And unlike Zillow, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.

With $110M+ in gross profits and rapid international expansion, Pacaso is scaling fast. Investors like Softbank, Maveron, and more are already on board. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

But you don’t have to wait. Join them as a Pacaso shareholder for just $2.80/share by 5/29.
