Kyle Chrisley Sues Deputies Over 2024 Arrest

Kyle Chrisley, son of reality star Todd Chrisley, filed a $1.7 million lawsuit against two Rutherford County deputies, claiming false arrest and excessive force during a September 2024 incident at his home.

The suit alleges deputies ignored evidence and witness accounts showing Chrisley acted in self-defense after a mechanic allegedly rammed his wife’s SUV and threatened him during a payment dispute.

Chrisley claims officers recognized him, targeted him for notoriety, and violently detained him despite his cooperation.

The lawsuit comes nearly three months after his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were pardoned by President Trump over tax evasion and fraud.

Students Using Burner Phones to Dodge Ban

Tennessee’s new classroom phone ban is already facing pushback, as students in Nashville and other districts reportedly bring burner phones to slip past the rules.

Metro Nashville Public Schools confirmed 100 device-related incidents so far this year, and Clarksville-Montgomery schools saw cases more than double.

Some students admit to putting decoy phones in classroom pouches while keeping a real one hidden.

‘Girl Dad’ Firefighter Delivers Baby on I-75

Chattanooga firefighter Lt. Alexander Efiom helped deliver a baby girl on the side of I-75 just hours after completing newborn delivery training.

Efiom’s team met the parents at a gas station after baby Emma Lucille was born early Thursday morning. Efiom cleared her airway and monitored her vitals until EMS arrived.

The moment came shortly after Efiom’s crew attended an OB emergency class focused on newborn deliveries.
