A Message of Thanks — And a Big Update for The Flyover Readers

Thanks to you, our readers, The Flyover has officially raised $1 million in less than two weeks through our reader-owned investment campaign.

That kind of momentum puts us among the fastest crowdfunding (Regulation CF) campaigns in the country—and it’s only possible because you believe in what we’re building together. Thank you!

We launched The Flyover to give Americans a bias-free, fact-first alternative to legacy media. Your overwhelming response tells us this mission matters—and we’re humbled by your trust.

While the 10% bonus shares for our first $1 million raised have now ended, we’re excited to announce:
  • 5% Bonus Shares for the next $1 million raised.
  • PLUS another 5% Bonus if you’ve been a Flyover reader for over a month.
That means qualifying readers can still earn up to 10% bonus shares—but only during this next $1 million tranche.  We have made shares as easily available and affordable as possible at $2 per share, with a $750 minimum.

If you missed the first $1 million, don’t miss the next. Every share you buy helps us grow The Flyover and bring bias-free news to more readers than ever. Together, we’re proving that honest, fact-first journalism has a future—and that future can be owned by the people who read it.

Article Icon 1Middle Tennessee Braces for Triple-Digit Heat

Officials issued a Code Red Weather Alert for Middle Tennessee as temperatures are expected to climb into the low 100s through Tuesday, with heat index values expected to reach 109 degrees.

Residents are urged to stay cool and indoors when possible, especially from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the most dangerous hours when outdoor activity should be limited.

Rain chances are slim, offering little relief until a cold front pushes through Thursday, dropping highs back into the upper 80s.

Article Icon 1Report: Try Memphis for a Mansion Under $1M

A new Zillow report says Memphis is one of just four U.S. markets where you can still buy a mansion for under $1 million.

Along with Buffalo, Indianapolis, and Cleveland, Memphis offers median 5,000-square-foot homes priced below the national mansion average of $1.4 million.

In Memphis, the median mansion costs about $996,700, while entry-level or “starter mansions” sell for around $771,300.

By contrast, Nashville’s starter mansions now run over $1.5 million. Read the report here.

Article Icon 1Jelly Roll Gives Back to Old Prosecutor’s Nonprofit

Country star Jelly Roll is donating a portion of his Grand Ole Opry ticket sales through September 2026 to a Nashville nonprofit co-founded by the judge who once helped put him behind bars.

The Judge Dinkins Educational Center (JDEC), co-founded by Judges Richard Dinkins and Jim Todd, provides education and trade training for at-risk youth.

Jelly Roll credits Todd with helping turn his life around and says supporting JDEC is a way to show kids what’s possible.

The deal also supports Jelly Roll’s own charitable fund.
