Article Icon 1 List: State Parks with Mother’s Day Brunch

Tennessee state parks are prepping for Mother’s Day with a list of park restaurants serving family favorites like ham, turkey and strawberry shortcake to help celebrate moms on their special day.

The Lodge and Restaurant at Montgomery Bell in Burns will offer a Southern buffet featuring fried catfish, mashed potatoes, cucumber salad, banana pudding, and drink specials like bottomless mimosas. Reservations are required and will be accepted through May 7.

Can’t make brunch? Try the Restaurant at Paris Landing in Buchanan where mom can enjoy homestyle food like honey glazed ham, green beans, and baked sweet potatoes for lunch or dinner. Unlike Montgomery Bell, reservations are not accepted.

For those unable to visit on Mother’s Day, Tennessee state parks offer gift options like donations, apparel and literature. See a full list of Mother’s Day activities and gifts here.
