Article Icon 1Cold Front Ends Record Heat

A cold front swept across Tennessee Friday, ending a run of record heat and bringing the coolest air of the fall so far.

Highs today will struggle to reach the low 60s in Knoxville, where forecasters told fans heading to the Tennessee-Alabama game to bring a jacket and tie down their tailgate gear against gusty winds. Saturday night should be the coldest of the season so far, with lows in the 30s and 40s.

The first frost of the season is possible this weekend on the Cumberland Plateau and in the East Tennessee mountains, so cover or bring in tender plants. Saturday’s highs in Chattanooga will run more than 10 degrees below the usual 74.

In West Tennessee, gusty winds and very dry air over drought-parched land raise the risk of wildfires, and forecasters urged residents to avoid open burning. The chill won’t last, with highs near 80 in Memphis by Tuesday.

No. 14 Tennessee hosts No. 6 Alabama this afternoon in the 109th meeting of the Third Saturday in October rivalry, airing at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Tennessee’s defense leads the nation with 25 sacks and has held every opponent to 24 points or fewer. Alabama, coming off a 20-17 loss to Georgia, will be without star receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and starting center Racin Delgatty.

On offense for the Vols, George MacIntyre is expected to make his second straight start as quarterback, with Faizon Brandon listed as “questionable.”

For the first time since Tennessee’s 24-0 win exactly 56 years ago, both teams will wear their home jerseys—orange and crimson—before Neyland Stadium’s 32nd straight sellout crowd of 101,915.

Article Icon 1Suspicious Activity Shuts Fort Campbell Gates

Fort Campbell shut its gates Friday morning after emergency crews responded to a report of suspicious activity near Gate 10.

Barsanti Elementary School on post went into lockdown at the same time and told parents not to send students in. “All students who arrived to school are secure and safe in the building,” the school posted.

The base lifted the lockdown around 9:30 a.m. CT and said it had confirmed no threat to the public. Officials haven’t said what the activity was, but they apologized for “any inconvenience this may have caused.”

The same gate closed almost exactly a year ago, on Oct. 10, 2025, over an alleged bomb threat in a vehicle. No explosives were found, and the driver was detained and taken to the post hospital for evaluation.

The Pentagon’s Got Their Eye on This Tech

One of the biggest indicators for forward-thinking investors is where the US government puts their money. They move first on the technology they know is going to shape the future.

First, they bet big on jet engines. Then drones. Now? It’s flying cars.  This August, the U.S. Air Force just signed a $142M deal for a flying car company building five-seater fleets. But our nation’s defense can’t stop there. Our nation’s most covert operations need smaller, personal aircrafts. And Doroni, the company positioned to lead the $100B personal eVTOL category, aims to capture this opportunity.

Their flying car, the H1-X opens the skies to all members of the military. Their SOULAI platform is so intuitive, you can pilot their aircraft after 25 hours of training. And its patented ducted fan system is designed to be safer than competitors.

This is your chance to get in at the private stage. Invest in Doroni today at $3.30 share before the share price changes after 10/22.

Morgan Stanley Calls this a $9T Opportunity

Morgan Stanley predicts that the flying car industry will grow 185,850% by 2050. In fact, they say it will reach $9 trillion in size, more than twice as valuable as today’s global car market.

And 17,000+ investors believe Doroni will lead the charge.

Designed for everyday life, Doroni’s H1-X aircraft charges like an EV, fits in two-car garages, and requires just 25 hours of training to pilot.

And while Tesla just unveiled a prototype, Doroni already unveiled a full-scale showroom model 600+ people already ordered in March.
