Question: Tennessee’s official state rap song was written to celebrate what occasion?

Answer: A Tennessee Bicentennial Rap: 1796-1996, written by Joan Hill Hanks, was adopted in 1996 to mark Tennessee’s 200th anniversary of statehood. It sits alongside Rocky Top, Tennessee Waltz, and the state’s other official songs, giving Tennessee more state songs than any other state.
