Article Icon 1Starbucks Announces $100M Nashville Hub

Starbucks will invest $100 million to open a Southeast corporate office in Nashville, creating about 2,000 jobs over the next several years, according to a Tuesday announcement that included Gov. Bill Lee.

The office, planned for the Peabody Union development, is already beginning to hire as the company builds out operations.

Executives said Nashville’s location, workforce, and proximity to a growing network of stores and suppliers made it a strategic choice. State leaders credited Tennessee’s business climate and population growth for landing the deal.

Officials say the project could deliver a significant economic boost, though Starbucks has not set a firm timeline for when the office will be fully operational.

Two Southwest Airlines planes came within an estimated 500 feet of each other Saturday evening at Nashville International Airport after an air traffic control instruction put one jet in the path of another.

Both crews received onboard collision alerts and took evasive action: one crew climbed, and the other descended, narrowly avoiding a crash.

The incident began when a landing flight aborted due to gusty winds and was redirected into the departure path of another plane.

The FAA is now investigating what went wrong, as questions mount about controller instructions and safety protocols.

Nashville is expected to be awarded the 2030 Super Bowl, according to a report citing national sports broadcaster Dan Patrick, though the NFL has not officially confirmed the decision.

The timeline lines up with the Tennessee Titans’ new Nissan Stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2027 and would position the city to host major events.

The NFL has already locked in recent Super Bowl sites through 2029 with Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Las Vegas, leaving 2030 as the next open slot.

If confirmed, the Super Bowl would mark one of the largest events ever hosted in the city, bringing significant tourism and economic impact to the region.

Why Your Meals Are Getting Harder to Digest

Remember when you could eat a big pasta dinner, a greasy burger, or a late-night slice of pizza and feel completely fine the next morning?

If that’s no longer the case, don’t blame the food.

Blame your enzymes.

Here’s something most people never hear from their doctors: as you age, your body produces significantly fewer digestive enzymes. These are the proteins responsible for breaking down everything you eat—proteins into amino acids, fats into fatty acids, carbs into fuel your cells can actually use.

When enzyme levels drop, food doesn’t fully break down the way it should. The result? Bloating, gas, and that heavy, sluggish feeling that hits within 30 minutes of eating — even when you’re eating “clean.”

MassZymes from BIOptimizers was built to fix exactly this. It delivers 18 digestive enzymes in one formula — including 4x more protease than most brands — to support complete digestion of proteins, fats, carbs, and dairy at every stage.
