President Trump endorsed Matt Van Epps for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, prompting two Republican rivals—Lee Reeves and Stuart Cooper—to suspend their campaigns and throw support behind him.

The special primary election takes place today, with early voting already wrapped up.

Van Epps now leads a crowded GOP field that includes Jody Barrett, Gino Bulso, and six others.

The general election will be held Dec. 2, with voter registration closing Nov. 3.

Article Icon 1Thousands Travel to Honor Boy at Funeral

Over 2,000 people, many of them strangers, joined a funeral procession in Dickson County to honor 10-year-old Carter Franklin Lee Smith, who died in an accidental shooting last Monday.

Carter’s family had requested a small group of bikers, but word spread, and motorcyclists came from multiple states.

The 30-mile procession also included first responders and even dump trucks.

The boy’s loved ones were touched by the kindness of strangers in their time of mourning and shared that Carter would be remembered for his big heart and joyful spirit.

Article Icon 1Woolly Aphids Swarm Tennessee Valley

Swarms of woolly aphids have descended on the Tennessee Valley this fall, blanketing cars, porches, and sidewalks with their fuzzy, white bodies.

Experts say the tiny insects are more of a nuisance than a threat, feeding on sap and leaving behind sticky residue, but posing no harm to humans or pets.

The uptick is due to ideal breeding conditions and is expected to taper off as cooler weather arrives. Until then, expect a bit of extra cleanup on the windshield.

Unknown number calling? It’s not random…

Here’s the disturbing truth: scammers don’t pick phone numbers at random. They buy your personal data from data brokers—your phone number, your email, even details about your lifestyle. That’s how they know exactly who to target.

Once your data is out there, it’s not just spam calls. It’s phishing, impersonation, and even identity theft.

That’s why we recommend Incogni:

  • They delete your personal info from everywhere on the web

  • They monitor and follow up automatically

  • They keep erasing your data as new risks appear.

You can’t stop scammers from existing. But you can make sure they don’t have your information to work with.

Erase your data now – use code FLYOVER to get 55% off to annual plans.
